Travel information group (9292): digital transformation
Travel information service (9292) underwent a transformation to an agile organization in 2018 in order to be able to implement the new strategy:
from public travel planner to multimodal planner with extra services (planning, booking, payment, travel).
Joost Mortier, director 9292, asked Manuela, as financial and operational director, to help shape this change.
“In this assignment for travel information group 9292 almost everything came together: from finance, HR, procurement, contract and project management, to software development and connecting all stakeholders. Together with the team, we developed a new strategy for 9292 and prepared the organization for this. We looked for the right professionals and put together an innovative development team to develop the new 9292 app. I made agreements with suppliers to loosen the deadlock and improve the quality of outsourced services. I also made agreements with partners. In this way, we ensured a reduction in costs and a growth in development, and I helped to raise the service and organization of 9292 to a higher level”.
